Summer break

Is your summer just flying by? It certainly feels that way at our house. I haven't had a moment to pick up a needle or even think about what my next needlepoint project should be in weeks. 


I did manage to take a few moments to appreciate the summer scene in our yard this weekend. Here's what I saw:

Lots of blooming in the front yard

Black-eyed susies

Somebody has been nibbling on our purple cone-flowers!

Probably the chief nibbler

I really should thank him for keeping our grass neatly trimmed

I hope you're surrounded by pretty summer scenes too!
